Sunday was one of those days that makes you really appreciate living in San Francisco. Sixty degrees. No clouds. No wind. In January. A perfect day for splashing around in the water at Crissy Field.

First off, you should know that I'm not a huge art museum guy. But, I'm up for the occasional dose of culture so on Saturday Gretchen and I went to the new de Young Museum in San Francisco.
Here it is in a nutshell.
Go. But only on a quiet weekday.

Gretchen and some of her co-workers went boating on the San Francisco Bay.
Gretchen and I knocked another thing off of our to-do list this weekend. We kayaked under the Golden Gate Bridge!


The Christmas tree in Union Square (San Francisco, CA) is one of the biggest I've ever seen. Only a tree that big could sport ornaments as big as your head.
