Not a day over 30!

Here is a flashback to Groundhog Day 2001 when Darren and I traveled from opposite coasts to meet in a tiny hamlet in western Pennsylvania called Punxsutawney.

I learned a few things that day.
Continue reading...After a quick dog sled run we headed up the road to snow shoe around Lake Alpine.
On Saturday, we headed up to Bear Valley with our friends Leland, Kara, Ren, Linsey & Koa. Koa is Ren & Linsey's awesome dog. He also happens to be one of approximately 500 pure-bred Chinooks in the US.
The Bay Area Siberian Husky Club had a dog sledding event at the Tamarack Lodge and we stopped by to check it out.

Scott and his family were nice enough to let us stay at their beach house in Pajaro Dunes on the Monterey Bay in Northern California.
