Travis got us all tickets to the Blue Man Group in Chicago for Christmas.
If you have never seen their show, they are a little hard to describe. Imagine Stomp set to rock music with a bit of Gallagher and a dash of Carrot Top. There were points where I was wondering why I was laughing, but I was entertained none the less.
I would like to show you some pictures, but "photography is strictly prohibited."
Recommended if you find yourself in Chicago with an evening to spare.

My family and I took a trip to Marshall Fields in Chicago over Christmas. It opened in 1852 and is one of the largest department stores in the world. It was recently sold to Macy's, so you could say this was its last Christmas.

This is the Christmas Tree in the Walnut Room.

We strolled through Chicago's Navy Pier Tuesday, expecting to see the usual crowds and stores catering to tourists but was plesantly surprised by a very well done stained glass exhibit. And it was free!

My brother Travis went all out for our first Christmas in Chicago. He booked us for Christmas Eve dinner at the Signature Room, on the 95th floor of the Hancock Tower.
Dinner, service and atmosphere was all top notch. And of course, we had a great view for watching Santa going house to house.
