Paddle the Golden Gate
Gretchen and I knocked another thing off of our to-do list this weekend. We kayaked under the Golden Gate Bridge!
It was a clear blue morning and the bay was calm.
Our guides from Sea Trek led us from Fort Baker on the Marin County side of the bay, under the gate and out past Kirby Cove.
We sat there a while, resting, enjoying the view and allowing the flood tide to pull us back into the bay.
Our group got in the way of a few rowers who were attempting to race through. A few cuss words were cast our way, but it couldn't spoil a once in a lifetime adventure.
