View of a Mt. Saint Helens eruption from a plane
I happened to be flying into Portland today just as Mt. Saint Helens decided to throw ash thirty thousand feet into the air. Here is the view off the right side of our plane (as seen through the low quality lens of my Treo).
Earlier, we had a nice view of Mt. Shasta in northern California.
